My Story: Two Decades of Food Noise
For over 20 years, I battled binge eating and constant “food noise.”
I tried everything — strict macros, intuitive eating, cutting out junk food, high-volume training — but nothing ever truly quieted it.
As a long-time coach and one of the owners of Game Changing Performance in Mundelein, I’ve spent my career helping others master nutrition and training. Yet, behind the scenes, I was still fighting my own mental tug-of-war with food.
Then I decided to take a new approach. I started a GLP-1 medication to see if it could finally help me quiet the constant thoughts around food and build a healthier relationship with eating.
Finding Silence for the First Time
